Sweet David joined his family in September, making his big sisters VERY proud and excited to help take care of him! We spend a morning together just having some fun and capturing the happiness they share. Congrats, Coleman family!
What better way to spend a morning than playing with my friends and their kittens!? What makes it even more special is that I rescued these two brother kitties from a hoarding situation over the summer. You would never have recognized them as itty bitties, they were hissy sick lil’ things. They quickly became loving boys and I was THRILLED when Nicki asked me about adopted them. I think they fit in purr-fectly! Ummmmm and can we talk about how I want to live in her dining room!!?? Wallpaper, yes please! xoxo
While we couldn’t get together for her actual birthday, we made good on it during a beautiful summer morning! Scarlett is an absolute ray of sunshine and I love her to pieces. Happy 4th birthday, sweetie!

Enjoying the setting sun on one of the last summer nights was just perfection with this fam. Even grandma & grandpa hopped in for a few! Detroit…you continue to move me!
So in love with this session and everything about this family. Sabrina is a dear friend of mine and taught me everything I know about ingredients shopping for yummy Italian meals (for that I am forever grateful!). I absolutely LOVE getting to watch the children I photograph grow up from behind my lens. It is such a special part of this job and one of my favorite things ever!! Seeing Sierra & Sydney last weekend made my heart happy as I get to see them each year. Afterwards, they hit up Rebecca’s for brunch – YUM! They definitely know how to enjoy Northville. We had a great time and I look forward to our next annual session!
