I often tease the vet techs at Mitten Animal Hospital that I am a ‘frequent flyer’ there. I am a volunteer for Feral Kitty Trappers and foster a lot of darling kittens each year, on top of having my own pets. So as you can imagine, I visit their office more than most. Whether it’s just a friendly smile to the comforting way they speak to the animals, I have never been more confident with the care my animals receive. I can’t say it loud enough that I simply LOVE this New Hudson practice. Dr Coleman and all the Vet Techs are amazing. From the happy visits to the sad ones, they offer kindness, support, knowledge, a listening ear, and treat each animal like their own. I was honored to take some fun pictures of them with their pups this month. COVID has been very tough on all vet practices, and this team works around the clock. I offer them a big ol’ Wayne & Garth “we’re not worthy” and a humongous THANK YOU for all that you do. You are all heroes.
Kaity and I met through a friend over on a little thing called Instagram (check her out HERE). We bonded over our love of cats, and we planned a date to get some photos done at their new home (which is GORGEOUS btw, and they did most of the work themselves!). Getting to know Kaity a bit better, I became so interested in her profession and how she helps people. Kaity is a licensed professional counselor, board certified dance/movement therapist, certified yoga instructor, and reiki practitioner. She is the owner of Inspired Healing: Therapy for the Mind, Body and Spirit. We spent some time in her office just chatting and hanging with Gracie. I learned more about how she empowers individuals to succeed in a nurturing environment all while unlocking their ability to heal themselves. Especially during this crazy time our world is going through, it’s people like Kaity who are helping others and guiding the way. I loved our time together during our session, she is so interesting and just gives off such peaceful energy, you can’t help but be energized around her! And let’s not forget about stunning Gracie, what a sweet little lady!!!
